Alright. I keep saying I need to get on this, and dang it, I'm going to do it!
Welcome to "My Kingdom for a Game." Whilst here, I'll be posting previews of upcoming games, retro reviews of my massive back catalog of games, current reviews and news stories that pique my interest in the gaming world. I'll always attribute and link the original sources for news and I'll add my own thoughts as well. I would really like this to be legit and not only offer information, but also a place to discuss gaming without getting too fanboyish or one-sided.
A bit of background on me (since I hope people that don't know me will eventually start browsing here):
- I'm a father of one who gets to stay at home and play with my little girl (which is also why I can compile all this)
- I've been gaming since I was 6 (got my NES that year for my birthday)
- I play damn near everything, but tend to stick to single-player titles
- My catalog of games keeps growing (pushing 700 at the moment), so I have plenty of material
- I don't take sides for console wars
- I firmly believe in publishers' rights to make a profit
- I used to work for Game Stop
- That means I've heard all the hate online, and heartily disagree with all of it
- I take requests for reviews
